One of three regional satellites of Rutgers University, the Camden campus is just a 15 minute commute across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. Camden originally began as a law school but has since expanded to offer programs in business, the arts and sciences, professional education, and visual and performing arts. The university also offers numerous distance education programs, including an online bachelor’s of arts degree in business administration. Camden’s online business administration degree requires students to complete a total of 120 credits. This is a degree-completion program, and all applicants must be transfer students who have completed at least 18 college credits with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Applicants do not need to submit standardized test scores or have prior work experience in a business field. Students can apply to begin the program in the fall, spring, or summer terms. Students generally complete the program in two to three years, depending on how many credits they transfer in. The curriculum does not include any in-person requirements. Coursework in the program is delivered asynchronously, providing students with maximum flexibility. Classes include a 27-credit business core and a 24-credit major core, offering courses such as strategic human resource management, organizational behavior, and the principles of finance. Students can also tailor their degree to better fit their academic and career goals by taking 18 credits of business electives. The curriculum does not include a thesis or capstone requirement. Camden’s business school holds national accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. All students in the program pay the same tuition, regardless of their location.
