A bachelor of arts or bachelor of science in business administration from Oregon State University offers an optional specialization in supply chain and logistics management. This accredited online business administration degree program requires the completion of 180 quarter credits, 60 of which must be upper-division courses. All students are required to complete general education and core requirements through OSU. The core curriculum is categorized across five key areas, which include skills, perspectives, and synthesis. Some concentration-level credits may be transferred to OSU on a case-by-case basis, though students are required to complete 45 of the 75 final credits at OSU. Online courses are accessed through the Canvas learning management system. Some classes may require students to find a local proctor for exams. As a unique business administration online degree developed exclusively for distance learning, students may choose from a variety of online-only minors, such as sustainability or agricultural business management, that only require an additional 15 credits. The curriculum and instruction emphasize innovative, entrepreneurial solutions and hands-on learning opportunities. All courses and materials are designed by OSU's highly-qualified faculty. OSU offers program start dates in the spring, summer, and fall. A competitive per-credit tuition rate is offered to all distance learning students, regardless of their location. Students typically take between four and six years to complete the online business administration degree. Transfer students, or those with 36 quarter/24 semester qualifying credits, are required to submit transcripts that reflect a minimum 2.25 GPA for all transferable coursework. Students who graduated from high school after 1997 are also required to complete two quarters or semesters of college-level language before earning their degree. In addition to a dedicated academic advisor, students enjoy access to 24/7 library resources, career services, free online NetTutor services, and other support services. Online students are encouraged to take advantage of one of many OSU student clubs and organizations, with access to WebEx and Skype video conferences for many meetings, social media networking, and on-campus event updates for students who live closer to OSU.
